Twelve Triangles

Lothians, Edinburgh - Bakery & Café

Rachel Morgan and Emily Cuddeford have created something quite special with their small, Edinburgh-based artisan bakery group. Famed for their slow-fermented sourdough loaves and unique pastries, most venues are takeaway only, but Stockbridge residents are lucky to have a warmly welcoming café too (open from breakfast to mid-afternoon). Those in the know drop by for worth-a-detour croissants, pain au chocolat, cheese scones, sausage rolls or lunchtime sandwiches – and very good coffee. We missed out on the new-to-the-menu spinach, mint and feta swirl but another new addition – an olive oil and sweet potato bun filled with walnuts and panela (unrefined whole cane sugar) – hit the spot. One of the city’s bakery stars.
