There’s more than just fabulous fromage at this daytime café and shop right in the heart of Bath. Breakfast runs until 11.30am, after which fresh, filling sandwiches and an array of light, seasonal lunch dishes are the order of the day (think chicken and pistachio terrine, etc). To finish, you could plump for a slice of homemade cake from the enticing selection in the window or – hard to resist – a bespoke cheese plate. The best seats are in the front room, with its 'Georgian vibe' and duck-egg blue shelves stacked with beautifully packaged goodies – here you can sit and watch the world go by. Drinks range from coffee and organic juices to local cider, Belgian beers and wine.
