Honestly faultless, from the welcome to our departure. Staff were warm knowledgeable and very helpful. Took our food intolerances seriously and accommodated without question. Rare to find this level of quality and attention to detail in UK hospitality right now. Cosy bed, good shower. Steak and short rib for dinner, excellent. Quick morning breakfast, lovely, you can taste the quality from their local suppliers. 10/10, will recommend to all fellow Scots navigating the M6. Thank you.

Our regular local pub and restaurant. Excellent. A range of ales and drinks. A smart and cosy environment. We relish the evening dishes especially the tasty salmon dish and their moist fresh fish with crispy batter. Food volume in line with Yorkshire generosity. A superior dining experience to other establishments in Sedbergh. Outstanding beyond others is the friendly serving staff welcome and attentive service. Give it five stars.

We had the roast dinner which was the best I have had. I’m always sceptical when having a roast dinner out but honestly this was amazing and look forward to our next. The cauliflower cheese was to die for.
