Expect diner-cool vibes, a bouncy playlist, friendly service and award-winning pizzas at this popular spot on independent-minded Mill Road. Go bottomless and let a weekend brunch slip into lunch as you linger over a stack of American-style pancakes or the muscular ‘lumberjack’ (pancakes, sausage patty from the butcher's over the road, eggs, bacon, crisp potatoes and maple syrup). There are pastas, grills and salads, but pizzas are the real stars. Detroit (rectangular) and classic Neapolitan versions include superlative ingredients such as ‘nduja from Mill Road deli Culinaris, while monthly collaborations with other local businesses celebrate the vigorous community spirit here.
