Top-notch Italian sharing plates in a shipping container
If you’re a fan of Bedminster’s hip, Mediterranean sharing plates diner, Cor, then the arrival of its sister restaurant in Tare Bistro's recently vacated shipping container on Bristol's Harbourside will be a cause for rejoicing. It's a tiny space, but it feels light and bright, with window-box foliage and framed pictures adding splashes of colour. Likewise, it would be remiss to turn down the wickedly indulgent chocolate budino with amaretti crumb and glistening cherries – though the selection of Italian cheese served with grapes and homemade focaccia crostini is equally tempting. The drinks list is strong on refreshing aperitifs and vermouths, as well as offering a good selection of modestly priced house wines.
