Brazilian chef Rafael Cagali and his partner Charlie Lee of the Exceptional-rated Da Terra in Bethnal Green, London, have opened a new restaurant in Hove pitched as a more accessible dining destination in a convivial setting.

Fantastic ‘one bite’ amuse bouche onion croustade, brioche liver parfait good but not special. Really good small plates - build your own taco pulled lamb a highlight. Fowey mussels fabulous. Followed by lobster rice with ox tongue. Very well presented and delicious. Exceptional wine by glass list. And the biggest bottle of port we’ve ever been lucky enough to have a (generous) sample of (Graham’s 20 year old tawny).
