Views of the Royal Albert Dock and the Mersey are a bonus at this intimate little sibling of Lunya (tip: the best seats are on the sun terrace and on the Champagne balcony upstairs). Expect a similar mix of authentic Catalan tapas with a few Scouse incursions, from deli platters to cracking paellas by way of, say, grilled sobrasada with whipped goat’s cheese and orange-blossom honey, ‘dirty patatas bravas’ or pan-fried sea bass on a bed of squid-ink pasta with allioli. Just add a terrific artisan deli, regular entertainment, foodie quizzes and a thoughtfully composed Spanish drinks list.
