Landrace La Pizza

With no reservations and a very short menu (five pizzas, one salad, one pudding), this part-time pizzeria from the already delightful Landrace Bakery is simple, joyful perfection. Even the plainest of their built-to-share, 18-inch super-thin and crispy Roman-style pizza ‘pies’ is lip-smackingly good, thanks to the unimpeachable quality of the toppings, which start with San Marzano tomatoes and fior di latte before loading up with top-drawer artisan ingredients. Fast, friendly service, dim lighting and menus that double as plates create an informal vibe. The short drinks list features local beers and cider, homemade lemonade and Italian wines.
