Found on the ground floor of a stack of shipping containers where big brother Jöro used to be, distinctly urban and moody Konjö serves ‘East Asian-inspired’ dishes, many cooked on a robata grill. It was originally a street-food concept designed to make use of Jöro’s delicious by-products, but is now a fully fledged restaurant in its own right. The off-piste drinks list brings something a bit different to Sheffield, with plenty of intriguing options to choose from, including, on our visit, a house-made soda involving BBQ pineapple and gochugaru (Korean chilli powder), a Moonlight sake, and a single-varietal sparkling perry – all at reasonable prices.
