Junior’s Café & Deli

Kent, Whitstable - Italian - Cafe & Deli

‘Everything is made fresh and from scratch,’ notes a regular of this amicable little corner café that's fast becoming a local go-to address for breakfast. Take your pick from French toast, sweetcorn fritters or a classic full English. Alternatively, call in for a bite of lunch – we're huge fans of the zingy gochujang-kimchi arancini with seaweed aïoli, or you could choose a big-hearted salad (perhaps creamy burrata with grilled peach, dukkah and tomato). The house focaccia, made daily, is stuffed generously with the likes of aubergine parmigiana or steak with caper mustard aïoli – perfect with a cup of very good coffee. There are takeaways, too, if you're looking for a beach picnic. No bookings. Unlicensed.
