An Italian feast at Ida, London’s Best Local Restaurant

Join us on Sunday, 5th October, for a celebratory lunch at one of our favourite north London neighbourhood restaurants, Ida, in Queen’s Park.

Winner of London’s Best Local Restaurant 2025, this brilliant place is full of warmth and serves heartfelt Italian cooking – eating a meal at Ida feels like being welcomed into the family home!

Our event will begin with a welcome drink, during which co-owner Simonetta Wenkert will read an excerpt from her memoir Ida, At My Table, sharing how she and her family have built their beloved restaurant over the past two decades. Around communal tables, you’ll enjoy a three-course lunch featuring delicious regional Italian dishes. To round things off, there will be a Q&A (if schedules allow) hosted by a special guest.

In keeping with Ida’s sense of community spirit, we will be supporting Laurence’s Larder, with optional donations available on booking.
