On Saturday 6 June, step inside Fortnum & Mason for an exclusive gin and behind-the scenes tour, designed for an intimate group of just 16 guests.

Over the course of one-and-a-half hours, you’ll experience an entertaining store tour as well as a bespoke gin-tasting session at the in-house distillery. Guests will be split into two groups of eight, rotating halfway through.

Store Tour (45 minutes)

Led by a Fortnum’s host, this is a guided walk through the iconic store building – including the extraordinary 3rd floor, billed as a ‘playground of delicious discovery’, the boardroom, the luxurious Foodhall, and the ground floor including the new Biscuitorium.

Throughout the tour, you will learn about the store’s history as well as stories from its legendary past. There will also be tastings along the way, with pairings including Fortnum’s famous Scotch egg.

Distillery Visit & Gin Masterclass (45 minutes)

Step inside the Amalthea Distillery for an interactive masterclass exploring the craft of gin.

Enjoy a cocktail on arrival before diving into the history of gin, the distillation process and botanicals and flavour profiles. The guided tasting will include standard gin, pink gin, and rum.

Each guest will receive a Fortnum’s gift bag on departure, including a bottle of gin, tea and biscuits, worth over £30 – the perfect memento of your experience. If you’d like to make your day even more memorable, Fortnum’s can book the following on request:
