Devotees of Exceptional-rated Midlands restaurant Carters of Moseley will find the restaurant and its team in the Cotswold countryside this summer. Carters at Westlands will run from July 19th in a glasshouse at Westlands, the Evesham-based growers of herbs and edible flowers who are long-standing suppliers to the restaurant.

Carter says he has ‘always flirted’ with the idea of laying tables at Westlands ‘and now this summer 2023 it will become a bookable reality’. The menu of nine servings will be inspired by the herbs and flowers growing around the restaurant space, with Kentish winemakers, Gusbourne, supporting the experience with their sparkling wines. Westlands director Will Boers said the collaboration was an ‘epic match’, adding: ‘Combining sustainably grown produce with talented chefs in an inspiring setting can only result in amazing, innovative dishes.’

Carter and his partner Holly plan to run their GFG Top 20 restaurant from Westlands until at least October.
