Our Yorkshire spies tell us there is always a queue outside this ‘extremely good’ bakery/deli when they open. However, Vanora’s is not only noted for its sourdough and delicious patisserie but also for the intimate French-inspired bistro (aka the Tartine Lounge) that has been created in a cosy room at the back. The menu references bouillabaisse, confit duck and coquelet, there’s a well-chosen wine list and it’s all complemented by a relaxed neighbourhood vibe. Booking essential.
