At a vineyard, someone's always watching the weather; that's doubly true for Tillingham Winery's open-sided Dutch barn, where pizza is served May to September alongside estate wines by the glass ('not much more expensive than buying the wine to go'). Wrap up, accept a blanket or a hot water bottle from the team and you'll be ready to relish sourdough pizzas, snacks and salads with 'notably good ingredients'. There are shared tables and service can be rather over-casual, but with it comes a super-relaxed, wellies-and-all vibe. Thankfully, given the gorgeously out-of-the-way location, you can book in advance (recommended).
