For a fun ride, take the great-value yellow water taxi from Granary Wharf to Leeds Dock and the Boulevard that’s home to this neighbourhood coffee shop. Open until 3pm or thereabouts for breakfast, brunch and, of course, every version of coffee (beans provided by their roastery in Armley), it also has a cracking line-up of cakes and pastries (courtesy of the Nova Bakehouse next door). More substantial dishes might include anything from caponata and Jersey Royal hash to grilled cheese sandwiches with chilli jam – although the standout has to be their creamy-yellow ‘slow scrambled eggs’.
