June 2020

The Ledbury, Mayfair
The Ledbury is to remain closed 'indefinitely' with chef Brett Graham calling the social distancing rules 'unworkable'

Indian Accent, Belgravia
The restaurant announced that reopening after lockdown would not be viable and therefore the restaurant has closed permanently.


May 2020

Siren, Belgravia
Nathan outlaw has announced he will not be re-opening Siren after lockdown, choosing to remain in Cornwall to focus on his restaurants there.

The Abbot's Elm, Abbots Ripton
During the COVID lockdown, owners John & Julie have taken the decision to retire. The restaurant will, however, retain all other staff when they reopen.


April 2020

March 2020

111 by Nico
Name changed to 111 by Modou after Nico handed ownership of the restaurant over to head chef Modou Diagne

Dehlish has moved address to 19/20 St Clements, Oxford, OX41AB

Originally planned for closure at the end of March, COVID caused the owners Simon and Gerda to close the doors early.

The restaurant announced closure with immediate effect at the beginning of December, with owner, Adam Newth citing not being able to find a new owner as the reason.

Head chef Nick Brodie left on 4 November, Sam Bowser, former head chef at Dormy House hotel, has been appointed in his place

Jidori yakitori, Covent Garden
This location has now closed, being replaced by Korean barbeque restaurant Yori. Hackney still open.

Lee Westcott has stepped down, being replaced in his role of head chef by Chris Simpson.

On 5 October, Picture closed both their Fitzrovia and Marylebone restaurants

Breddos Soho branch closed on 24 October, the site has been sold to Patty & Bun.
